BillPal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

BillPal is a bill and subscription tracker. It works fully on your device: you do not need an account, and you do not connect a bank. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What stays on your device

By default, everything. Your bills, subscriptions, amounts, payment dates, categories, notes and payment history are stored locally on your phone. They are not sent anywhere.

Reminders are scheduled by your phone's own operating system. They work offline and do not involve our servers.

What we collect, and only if you ask for it

What we never collect

Who we share with

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Data on your device stays until you delete it, and uninstalling the app removes it.

If you created an account, you can delete it from Settings. This permanently removes your account and everything synced to it from our servers. Bills already on your device stay there.

Statement and email contents are kept only as long as needed to produce the entries you confirm, and are then discarded.

Your rights

You can export all your data to a CSV file at any time from inside the app, without an account. You can delete your account and its data yourself. For anything else, write to us.

Children

BillPal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
